How FAB Works at the Farmers Market
SNAP shoppers get a dollar-for-dollar match on their SNAP spend for Florida-grown fresh fruits and vegetables at FAB farmers markets.

Shoppers use SNAP and receive tokens
Shoppers swipe their SNAP/EBT card at the market information booth and receive SNAP tokens for what they spent, and a match in green FAB tokens.

SNAP-eligible items include all food other than hot food or food labeled for pet consumption. FAB eligible includes fresh Florida-grown fruits and vegetables, vegetable starts, and seeds that produce food.
Vendors turn in tokens for reimbursement
